If you are planning any modification to the exterior of your residence that is permanent and/or requires a building permit from the City of Santa Clarita, first you will need approval from the Vista Ridge Homeowners Association Architectural Commitee.
The Architectural Committee is dedicated to working cooperatively with homeowners as they consider additions, improvements, and other exterior modifications. Please discuss your project with us before hiring a contractor or architect to draw up plans. The Architectural Committee meets on the second Wednesday of each month. Please call Lori Tamboline to schedule a time on the AC agenda.
If you are interested in painting the exterior of your home, you first need to review the book of approved paint colors. There is a copy kept at the Ross Morgan & Company, Inc. management office; there is also a copy kept in Vista Ridge by Nora Mainland. You can call Nora to coordinate a pickup at (661) 254-4375. Finally, there is an additional book kept at the Dunn-Edwards store in Stevenson Ranch that cannot be taken home, but can be viewed in the store.
After an initial meeting with the Architectural Committee, the second step is to complete the Home Improvement Form and attach all relevant documentation (plans, drawings, photos, neighbor impact statement, etc.). Submit your request to:
Ross Morgan & Company, Inc.
Attn: Lori Tamboline
23300 Cinema Dr., Suite 280
Valencia, CA 91355.
You may also request this form by phone. Please call Lori at (661) 263-1754.
Lori will forward the homeowner request to the Architectural Committee for final review. You will receive a response in less than sixty days.
